  1. I had the same problem in the summer. New switch fitted under warranty cured it. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... c&t=165738
  2. New lock fitted under warranty. Lock works fine now. Barry
  3. Correct. but if one button on my remote has failed, chances are the other might too. If that happens then i can't open the boot. Barry
  4. As i said in my first post. It wont open with the key. Barry
  5. Maybe but how do i open the boot if my remote fails? Barry
  6. I've started having problems with my tailgate lock. The only way i can unlock it is by using the seperate button on the remote. Before it would unlock when unlocking the doors. It wont unlock when using the key. Yet it locks when using the remote to lock all the doors. It's still under warranty so i'll have to book it in. Barry
  7. You need to remove the drvers side front wheel and then remove the liner. then you can get at the pump and washer bottle. Barry.
  8. That the trouble, the pump sounds as if it's working but doesn't push any water out. I wouldn't be suprised if they had just fitted a new pump so you should be okay now. (sorry, but i don't have a lot of faith in main dealers,) A mate at work has had the EGR prolem fixed 5 times now and they told him he was making too many short journeys ( it's 5 miles to work for him)and should go the long way home.   Barry
  9. Personally i think you been conned. When it happened to me they suggested the same but i removed and checked the pump before i took it in so i new it was not blocked.I know ot 3 people who have had the pump replaced, All the same problem, first the rear stops working and the front get worse until it's useless. The dealer told me they had fitted an improved one as they have had a lot of pump failures. Barry
  10. Previous post here. http://www.ffoc.co.uk/modules.php?name= ... ght=clutch
  11. A common problem. A new pump is required and is covered under warranty. I had mine done a few weeks ago. Barry
  12. I own a 2.0 TDCI ultima. I'm not overkeen on the electric handbrake but i can live with it. The automatic wipers are next to useless. And after you wash/wipe the screen you always get that annoying little dribble so you have to wipe them a couple of times more. Apart from that i enjoy driving the car. Barry
  13. All sorted now. Pump replaced under warranty. Barry
  14. Just a reminder to check your alloys. Decided to remove my alloy wheels today to give the a good clean on the inside. It's 12 months since they were last removed (during service) The nuts came off easily enough but the wheel was stuck fast due to corrosion. It took a fair few taps with a rubber mallet before they came off. If the car had just been up on the supplied jack i don't think i would have got them off, as the car was up on axle stands i could exert a fair amount tapping and rocking. If i'd have been out on the road i don't think i would have been able to change a wheel. A smear of cop
