Yes, it's very easy to take out. It comes in three parts, facia panel, box itself and the display screen. But what are you going to replace it with ?

The lock is held in by a bolt on the back edge of the door, it may just be a case of loosening the bolt push the lock back in and tighten the bolt.

I'm getting 37mpg, it's all short journey's round town. Haven't had any decent weather, so haven't done any long runs (and the first one we do will be in SWMBO's 1.6L 150 ecoboost - I want to see what it will do)

One year on and we now have 2 Focus mk3's. His Titanium, candy red, 1.6 petrol 125ps, city pack. Hers Titanium, candy yellow, 1.6 petrol 150 ecoboost, city pack, appearance pack. Hers might be a 61 plate, but it rolled off the production line 5 weeks before mine.

I have a college at work who has a late 2007 Focus mk2 Ghia (series 35) with an island series Sony h/u with manual aircon and wood effect facia. Will need a couple of days to visualy confirm this. But using her vehicle details the facia part comes out as :- 7M51-18522-CASMDJ Hope this helps Checked the car, facia is slightly darker than your original.

Car needs to be told it's got BT. Will need to be connected to Fords IDS (laptop) to change entry in CCF. At the moment your mobile is picking up the BT module, but as the car does not know it has BT fitted, the BT module cannot comunicate with the stereo - to display the code you need to enter on your mobile.

What's the firmware for the Sony h/u (in radio mode, press 1 & 6 together, first set of nos. are firmware) needs to be 05-03-03 or later to work. What BT module are you using ie whats the Ford part no. ? (xxxx-xxxxxx-xx) BT needs to "switched on" in the car configuration file via Fords IDS (laptop).
