Hi, it turned out to be a pressure problem within the box. Could have been a few things causing it hence car now gone.

I have a 2007 1.6 Auto with a 4F27E box and have just started to have problems with the transmission. It seems to change gear with a bit of a thump, fails to go into top gear and will not go into manual. With the warning lights the display reads 'Transmission Malfunction'. When it's left for an hour or so it's fine, but after driving for an hour or so it starts playing up. Have changed the A & B Solenids, Temp Sensor and Filter in the Box but it's still the same. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers.
