Hi Kjm, Mine (1.6 tdci) did the same and it was really annoying. I tried to spray it with various things (silicon sprays, etc) but it always helped only for few days and then it began again. There's really bad access to the upper part of the clutch pedal. I decided to go to ford service and they seem managed to fix it - they just used some stuff to spray it too (didn't tell me what exactly) - seems with better luck. It works ok more than 3 months now - hopefully it will remain like that...:-) Rasto

Hi wildhen, my c-max (1.6tdci, y2005) has same problem with driver door panel not in line with the front panel. The passanger door is ok. I addition I hear wind noise from the driver door... ...asking Ford sevice - they said it's the same for other c-max and it's *normal*:-( ...hearing that *great* news, I better decide to NOT let them dissasemble my new car, because I am almost sure the result would be even worse :x

I'm still in a progress of "learning to ignore" a couple of things:-) As I am reading this forum for some time already, I got a bit scarred and perhaps I watch my car and any small thing too much...I should probably be more *relax*... In regards to consumption, I have my air condition enabled all the time - that's also increasing avarage a bit.

Hi, When shutting down the engine on my 1.6tdci (80kw) c-max (4.000km , y2005) the engine (and actually whole car) quakes quite strong shortly. Simply the stopping engine sounds very raw. It looks like it stopes somewhere in the *middle* of the cycle or so ...(sorry - I don't know how to describe it better) It doesn't stop so smoothly as I used to see in my previous car (petrol). As this is my first diesel car + 1st Ford ever, I don't have any refference to compare with. I would appreciate if you can share your opinion/experience with this. Is such behaviour normal? Also regarding consumtion

Hello guys! Does anyone of you know if there is a way to set different default volume on the 6000CD radio? (I have c-max model 2005) The radio or cd player always start with vol.5 which is quite loud for me and I didn't find any instruction in the user guide. Why it can't simply remember the last used vol. setting before turning it off?? :-/ Thanks in advance for any hint:-)

btw, I lent a pna navigation from my workmate today and tested it - it worked fine with heated front window. I was just litlle confused how long it takes to get signal (minutes) - but I was told it's because of the gps sensor sensitivity

that's really "great" :-( Actually, I would feel much safer if there would be an option to have even a car radio with removable panel (as I used to have in my previous car). I am scarred leaving this inbuild one there on the street - some people are simply "crazy" :cry:

Thanks for information regarding display illumination. Regarding windnoise - I was sitting on the other side today while someone else was driving and it was much more silente there. I'll try to check if they can adjust the door in garage somehow. One more question - does anyone of you has a portable navigation (pna or pda) working with the heated front window Doesn't it disturb the signal for gps?

Hi guys, ...finally, I've go my new c-max 1.6 tdci (80kw) and did first longer trip (1100km) on it. I have to say, it was a pleasure to drive it - both for me and my family (wife + 4y old son). Even considering a fact that the engine is still quite raw, it was powerfull and dynamic enough with good consumtion - the avarage consumtion was 6.3 liter after driving quite major part on a higway in Germany going mostly 140-160 km/h.
