  1. I guess they'd have to, because the kit is designed for them. Its probably only an option on those models with front fogs as standard anyway.
  2. The MK1 you could program yourself!
  3. Yup, same thing happened to me and its back at Ford right now getting it rebonded into place. I'm not overly confident though, if people have had this done only to find it fails again. It seems to be that the rubber does not have enough room to expand in the gully, and so pops out the top. I always noticed mine after a cold night, once the ambient temp warmed up, even without driving. That said I've heard it pop out wile on the motorway, you can hear the wind drag on it as well. Shoddy if you ask me!
  4. I've never seen the need for kits on Foci, Mk I or II. Just lower them slightly (30-35mm) and stick some larger wheels on them and they look great! Kits like the one above take away all the appeal for me.
  5. I've always liked that as I have rather long legs. It allows me to stretch out. My curtessy Fiesta has the pedal logged right against the centre divider, so I can't rest my leg out stretched, which over a long journey could be really uncomfortable! So for me, no footrest is actually better!
  6. Sorry, just in a huff with Ford, not you. I'm taking it in after work today, if I don't get the answers I want then its going back, end of. Shame, because I really like the car!
  7. Acording to the law, the car must be free of minor defects, and that these should be pointed out to me at the time of the sale. Needless to say they were not! End of the day, I still have right to take it back.
  8. WHAT?! I'm being quoted over a grand!
  9. Hi everyone, picked up my new focus 1.6zetec vvct (or whatever the hell it is) last thursday and already I'm having problems. For starters there is flaking in the paintwork on the roof, which the dealer has put down to bird cr@p having been left on there, and therefore is not covered by the warrenty...I bought the car LAST WEEK. If the previous owner didn't wipe it off that's his problem! Secondly, the rubber seal around the windscreen keeps popping out after a spell of cold weather. I assume because the rubber starts to expand too quickly and has no option but to jump out. Sad. There's
  10. By being a "live in Landlord." I don't have to have a buy to let if I live there, even if I don't. I can keep a room there for me if necessary. Bottom line is, providing they get their money every month, mortgage companies don't care. What about ex pat's that go to work abroad and want to rent their house out, but never bought it buy to let? Nothing wrong with that. Circumstances change.
  11. Sold it for £4200. Not great, but its better than trade in! First person who looked at it took it!
  12. You mean the one on the red Focus don't you? I guess the best place to find out would be Ford.
  13. I asked the dealer that very same question. He said that you own the car, its your name on the V5, so do what you want as far as mods are concerned. You'd lose mechanical warrenties if you messed with the engine, but if like me you just want it to look good there should be no probs. I always make sure these things are reversable, because as I'm finding out trying to sell my MK1, mods are not welcome. Even though I've only put 17s on it, lowed the suspention and given it clear rear lights.
  14. Well I wear Rolex, got two of em. How'd you like them apples?!
