Thanks for the replies-- Interesting I was concerned over the fuel mileage Mandarin don't believe all you read about Toyota- It is what I'm getting rid of, the worst car I have had. Its a 2003 Avensis spirit 2ltr petrol 20 000miles up in the last 9 months 7 head lamp bulbs Toyota longlife £20 each + fitting at the dealers due to having to have all the front valance , front panel and lamp out to change the bulb = expensive 1 alternator 1 Battery 2 front discs aircon packed up again Must admit dealer is very good, loan car as soon as I go in, all done under warranty no questions asked--- Mu

Just found the site and found it interesting, thinking towards a 2.0 TDCi Ghia but i'm a bit wary of the issues that everyone is reporting. Granted people only report problems and not all vehicles are problem free Question is would you buy a max again ? if not why? Thanks for any info Dave
