  1. A good start in rattle investigations in to fully empty the car for debree . Don't forget all the hidden places. I most cases CD covers, coins and other thing causes the rattle
  2. Strange that the ESP is kicking in when driving straight? Sounds to me that the spin control strangled the engine power. I'ts the same button though and you need to hold it in for ca 3-4 sec before it cuts power. Seeing a Merc coming at high speeds don't give you much time. Since you where the first car of the two in the roundabout the Merc should have stopped for you. shouldn't it? :D
  3. Surely a different plant? Mine is being build in Germany at some plant. Haven't you got your own car plants in England? I'll reckon it's faster to transfer a car within the same country. Mine must take a boat trip first. *sigh*
  4. Thx guys, taht gives me some idea. Taken that the trade in mondeo has a fixed price I couldn't drive a cheaper car. Just 60k on the meter when signing the contract, 62 K now and running......The Km driven with the Mondeo is Km saved on the Foci :)

  10. Looks like something happend to your car before you got it and some parts were resprayed. Dont look like a factory job, more like an afterjob. Maybe there is som paint dust on your windscreen giving the course feeling. If so the car must be painted after completion. I think the windscreen comes on after the factory paint job. Do some "private eye" job an maybe you could get some money back or cancel the car. A couple of freinds of mine ordered to brand new Omegas from germany. After a while they discovered more and more minor faults with the car. To make å long story short. Both cars where ac

  12. The alcohol version of Focus you are mentioning are more friendly to the enviroment even if it burns more fuel. The clue is that the fuel is not fossil and to create more basis for more fuel the plants are using the co2 you are releasing. Thats not the case about fosil fuel, just adding more co2 to the world. Again the engine uses more alcohol because the energy stored in the fuel are not so high as ex petrol. The other thing is that the car in fact are releasing more co2 than the regular petrol version and uses more. The flexibility are high. You can drive on petrol alone, alcohol alone, or
  13. I will sure try it. I could have a talk with the electro clerk in the warehouse first and return the lot if it don't give the expetcted result. Another thing that springs to my mind is the heated windscreen. The threads surely do not make the singnals easier. I give it a go and post the result here. Are the any hard disk drives available that could bed put in the glove dep. I'm thinking of a 200 Gb HDD. Big storage for MP3's
  14. Good idea Smjohns :!: But what about the antenna? and the DAB signal. I reckon it would be a problem when hiding the DAB in the glove dep
  15. Anyone knows if there's a DAB unit available for the Sony headunit in the MK2? ConGrats with the victory yesterday England!!!
