  1. No not just for the aux. wanted a DAB and mp3 CD/DVD so thought i might aswell get aux aswell. :D
  2. Dont worry yourself too much although the 6000cd has the aux button the wiring for that isnt there either!!!, i had to get a new head unit to get my mp3 player hooked up. you can buy the wiring but if your going to upgrade then you might as well do it properly! wouldnt mind getting a kit for the footwell lights though.
  3. Ok dont shoot me down just yet. i have read all of the previous threads about footwell lights and havent found my answer. i just wondered if anyone can confirm that they have found the bulb holders in a sport (06 plate)? I have located the brackets, but cannot find any wiring looms with bulb holders attached (i have searched big time). So if you have a sport and have found the wires please let me know.
  4. http://www.lowcostcaraudio.co.uk/shop/A ... tallation/ even cheaper here.
  5. Thats the model i was talking about. Its made by Autoleads. And a damn site cheaper than bassjunkies!!
  6. Bassjunkies do a metalic charcoal grey facia for £25, looks pretty good with my sony DAB. http://www.bassjunkies.co.uk Although i dont think it is on their website yet, you can get the phone number off the site.
  7. well it worked for me. bit of hose pipe sliced down the middle! now well see how long it lasts. But you are right, its wierd how it is only the passenger side. the drivers side seems a much better fit!
  8. Cool, just had a look, cut a slice in a piece of hose pipe and slid it on. No Rattle at 90mph!!!!!! i know they dont cost shed loads of cash but you would think the build quality would be a bit better in some areas. Just need to get my bike rack sorted and stereo replaced and ill be a happy bunny!
  9. I did see that thread but havent got round to checking it out, As none of the others actually came back and said if it worked or not. Maybe this thread will jog a few memories.
  10. I just wondered if anybody else had experienced this; I get a flapping kind of rattle coming from the left hand side of the dashboard (sounds like its coming from the inside) the only thing is i only get this when i hit about 75mph. i have looked at all of the other rattle issues i could see in the forums but none seemed relative to the speed factor. i have checked the obvious things and cant see anything out of place etc... i also have a problem of sitting in the passenger seat and listening for the exact location as there is no way i am getting in the car with my wife driving at 80mph!!
  11. Thanks guys, it seems that my initial thoughts were right. Roof bars it is then :(
  12. Lokking for 2 or 3, i have 2 thule roof racks on my freelander and i dont find them particularly easy to use (That might be because i have to use step ladders to get my bike on!!!) i would prefer to go with a tailgate option if i can, but if anyone can convince me that getting your bike on top of a focus is much easier than on the freelander then i might have to take a closer look.
  13. Can anyone recommend a rear mount cycle rack? Im looking for one that mounts on the rear door as i do not have a towbar. It seems that all of the ones i have looked at either block the lights or you cant mount them due to the rear spoiler.
