Just had it confirmed today that my focus needs a new Electronic Power Assisted Steering unit after the above warning appeared on the dash display This is a known fault as there has been a TSB released and there is also a modified wiring loom that has to be fitted aswell As my focus is just out of warranty, it looks like I am going to have to fork out over £700 to get this rectified, so I'm a bit p****d off at the moment :( Anyone else had/heard of this problem?

I have this socket in my estate and was toying with having another installed in the rear of the armrest (between the front seats) for the kids games, but was put off cos of the work it involved :roll:

I am hoping to be there but at the moment it still isn't definate (I may have to go past on the way up to Cheshire up the M1) :roll:

I purchased my car from Allens (Romford), and when I had a problem with mine they sent me to Brentwood Incar to get it sorted as they fitted them for Allens :roll:

I agree, I know Focez's car is not an LX, but it does make the front end look 'cheap' without the chrome. More agressive maybe, but cheap - yes Pete. I agree

Aquarius is also good if you don't get out to clean it very often as it still looks bright when it's dirty :wink:

I agree, the coloured grill makes the front look very 'lx-ish' or even worse 'studio-ish' The Chrome sets off the front end nicely. I agree as I feel it also gives the front a bit of contrast

Has anyone else broken the trim on their drivers seat on the base next to the sill I have caught it a couple of times getting in/out of the car and the clip at the front is now broken :x
