yes ,ine is foooked too. It has been "regassed" but basically iyt does not get cold enough. It needs to go back nut as I have three year Ford Protect I hope its covered.

doesnt seem to be jumping tomtom70. it seems also to be picking out the positioning OK. They did mention that they would have to order another part costing 1500 quid. I canonly assume this si the Denso unit?? as they have replaced the Viseon one already

Guys Our sat nav touchscreen syste broke. Well we lost total sound from radio, CD MP3 and Sat Nav voice. We also lost the phone conenction adn sound. The audio unit in sat nav (made by Vision I think although it has Kenwood s/w number on teh diagnostics screen) has been repalced and we have soudn but still no a/c cool ar. time or date function. What part behind the touch screen controls this? Anyone know? Ta

Sal, do not retro fit them. Just wait the few weeks for the car. It will be worth it I am sure. How is the price hunt doing? Have you tried motorpoint etc?

i would avoid bristol street - bunch of second hand car dealer types if you ask me :) Sal, you have what ever options YOU want, tis your car. Ours ahs LOADS and I mean LOADS, parking sensors, sat nav, leather, esp, mats, etc. THey can take longer but if tis what you want a few weeks will not hurt, your seems not too many options though so should be OK for a stock car. We are waiting five weeks for a new sat unti. I am sure cars are built quicker thatn that!

I know it bafffled me also. When my Mrs explained to them that it was the RAC that did it AND that we could not have done it ourself as the EPB manual releae broke so we could not move the car out of the parking bay AND that the RAC fella said he had to double whack it as it was really low then they took it on the chin. THey still do not know why it kept dropping though. But it did get a full inside and out valet including a leather polish so I am quite happy. Just waiting for the new sat nav unit to come in fro Germany and away we go..... wonder if they will send a voice recognition one

Hi Jrbb Our car has the same problem and I am waiting today to find out why. The RAC man who came out to us in bluewater after is discharged to 11 volts said this has happened a lot on c-maxes and by jumping it he blew all the electrics and it needs a new sat nav. this is all being paid for under warranty which is great even though the car is two years old. I still think there is something else wrong though other than a knackered battery otherwise why would it not fail all the time?

thanks all for your hekp. Sorry it was pads. They tyres still have a mill to go they say so we will wait, the car has to go back in ten days for the new sat nav that the jump start blew. I still want to know what caused the loss of voltage thoough. I will have a look aroudn for shoes but thorse Fulda sound good!! Tyres are not covered on the priv club now so there is no benefit from getting them from a main dealer. Cheers
