I kept an eye on the oil and changed it etc.... just could get the time and money at the same time to get the car serviced.

I missed the 12k service and then just booked it in for the 24k ford never said anything about voiding the warranty, but I'm sure that will come back to bite me at some point

Mine has come on once - tried to make a really quick get a way at some lights in the wet and the wheels just spun

i was dreading taking mine for a service it turned out as best it could. My sister in law got charged £300 by nissian for a service and that was with no extra work being carried out.

I had mine done at the weekend - £143 all in. They have flagged that one of tyres has only got 2.5mm tread left and the brakes are 60% worn but other than that all good.

I need to top-up the coolant in the motor. Am I ok to purchase the stuff from halfords to top it up or do I need get it from ford? Cheers

I got a box of them from halfords.

Ask for an RS at the same price to make up for the inconvenience they have caused.

I had a van that did that in first gear - evenually the gear linkage snapped.

I thought tints were only illegal if you could see through them from the outside.
