  1. I've got an 05 1.8 TDCi and got the letter..
  2. I think cars that aren't 20,000 grand plus are eventually gonna have little squeals and rattles to be honest. My 05 creaks going up high curbs - always has done. I bought it nearly new with 2000 miles on the clock - I just thought "thats what they do" Likewise I've got a rattle in my door.. Oh, and the plastic covering at the bottom of the tailgate rattles against the rear window sometimes. I've got a LX by the way.. My dad's Zetec doesn't seem to have any of these problems. *turns radio on to cover noise up*
  3. About the rear lights.. Ford's current trend seems to be putting them 'back down'. Just look at the S-Max, Galaxy and pictures of the next Fiesta.. They could've had their lights up the back like the old fiesta and focus - but they've decided to do it differently this time around.
  4. Mine's got rattles and shakes all over inside. In both doors. And the plastic on the inside of the tailgate.
  5. I think it's more likely to run a Linux derivative, if it *did* run WinCE, you could really go to town customising it.. That would be ace. Hehe. Is there a manufacturers website anywhere?
  6. Hmm. I want a proper ford one, but I haven't got climate control so something like this would have to do :S -edit- Ahh, this isn't a sat nav. Heh. Me = thick.
  7. Do you really? In a TDCi? Isn't it supposed to make them blow up or something?
  8. I was thinking of afteramarket ones as well, but it'd be nice for the remote stalk to work and stuff.. I found this website with some good pics of the Ford/Denso unit in operation: http://www.jaanuskase.com/en/2006/04/th ... vigat.html
  9. when i fitted a sony mp3, i didn't need to do anything to the cluster? :S
  10. Ack! That might be a show stopper then. I did do a search, but as usual for internet forums I got results returned about EVERYTHING EXCEPT what I wanted to know about :) Anyone any clue? Ford techs? Please? :P
  11. Hi. I been wrestling on and off with my PDA and my dad's borrowed Garmin for a suitable sat nav system for my car for months now. Niether seem "just right". The big centre console DVD Sat Nav is looking more and more appealing. I was wondering, if I got one off eBay (they do turn up VERY occasionally), can I just fit it? Is it a straight swap? Obviously I'd need to fit the DVD disc drive in the glove box and sort out a GPS antenna, but would everything else just 'plug in'? I've seen that the heater controls are operable only from the sat nav/radio, and that it extends into the area w
  12. :( I feel you pain mister. There's nothing more I can add.
