Thanks mace, Irealise that the 90 is not as quick of the mark as the 110 but I don't find it a problem . May'be im easily pleased or getting old!!

Has anyone had any problem with creaking rear suspension which is evident when driving over the usual quality local roads that are shall we say less than level. My max has only covered nearly 4000 miles but is sounding like an old sailing ship ,especially with the "you'll just have to live with it" creaking door seals. It seems to have only become a problem since I recently had three adult passengers in the back as usually we just ride two up. Love the car and have learned to live with the little creaks and rattles and have great economy with an average of 49mpg .(1.6 tdi 90)

H ad my c max for four months now and just had it back for the 1500 mile courtesy check.As mentioned here before the dealer seems to think that the gale force wind through the drivers door is because the vehicle is fitted with would you believe it...doormirrors!!!. Also the usual creaking squeeking door seals which thet kindly soaked in silicone and the (fix) lasted two days. Do Ford honestly expect customers who spend thousands on what has to be said is 95% a great car to put up with what is obviously a design fault.Come on Ford , its 2006 and even the cheapest of manufacturers produce very g
