  1. Just oredered a set of 4 Ford 6000 Stereo removal keys from a company www.dashmount.co.uk to do the job. Might be cheaper on eBay but of a lesser quality. Think I'm going to site my Aux plug into a blanking plate on the right side of the stereo (above or below heated rear screen switch) because the glove box fitment requires the lid to be left open when plugged in. Not very practical.
  2. Sorry its a 6000CD when I looked again. Knew it had 6's and 0's in it! Believe C-Max's with Sony stereo's as OE had Aux sockets fitted to glove box. Presume its an optional extra as well-Mrs had one fitted to her new Festa. I've ordered an Aux socket from Ford for £15.
  3. Mate has a natty block connector which plugged straight into the rear of his stereo (BMW) and allows him to plug a 3.5mm jack straight into his iPod. Anyone done the same with the standard 6000 C-Max stereo? How big a job is it? I have one of those Belkin FM transmitters at the moment but I've never used it because I found out they're illegal!
