Phoned last week couldent tell me anything ChrisJ,how do you know this :Allegedly they have build dates of late May for orders placed ealy November. ST2's only though at the minute. mines a st-2 orderd mid november. It will kill me waiting till june!!!!!!!

IT's disapearing from lots of websites. Looks like ford are pulling the plug. Hope buymynewcar can honour orders already placed. If they cant they should give us back our deposits so that we can get one from elseware.

GrayKnight, This has happend before and they did say that all orders will be met.

Just been reading a road test on wanadoo and picked this up. If you are in first or second gear, the ECU allows the revs to stretch to 7000; in all other gears, the limit is 6500 rpm

It was the same with the puma only advertised when they had to.

It's unusual for ford to advertise in this way.Wonder if sales are slipping.

Does it not sit in a poly/ foam surround that sits in the bottom of the boot under the carpet. Is there a an anker point under that? can someone have a look.

Never thought of that cheers will probably stick to the foan option now.

Since ordering my st a few things have changed. For instance you now get a deeper boot because the spare wheel has been replaced by tyer foam. I am thinking of specking my st with the cost free spare wheel, i know i will lose six inches in boot depth but i could probably buy some foam from halfrds and remove the spare on the odd occasion i need more space. What do you think guy's? PPL with the new ST have you tried this?

scook2003, I was refering to the trade in pice they gave me for my current st170 and then only one week later when i went to order they gave me a lower one. Trying it on i think!!!!!!!!

Ive always bought from the local dealer. They gave me a good price for my st and then a week later when i went to order, the price had fell by a grand. Are people supposed to put up with this, I for one am not. so yes i was anoyed and decided to purchase from a broker.
