thanks for the reply ravenger,i did notice how much better the drive was when i tested the c max.my only worry is if the engine is underpowered. regards smokesmate

i there. iv'e just ordered a panther black petrol 1.6 ti-vct zetec c max from my local dealer. it was either the c max or a zafira. i test drove them both and i prefered the ride in the c max.the zafira felt and sounded like i was driving a minibus. but after reading various reviews i'm begining to have second thoughts,is there anyone out there who can put my mind at ease and tell me i've done the right thing in ordering the c max. i've ordered the car on motability and could only afford the advanced payment for the 1.6 zetec i couldn't afford the diesel engined c max. thanks smokes
