So what happened in the end? :roll: well what happened in the end was,i got a c max but not the panther black one that i ordered. when i went into the dealers 2 days before the handback date the salesman told me that there was no way my cmax would be delivered on time as it had not even left the factory in germany yet. so i told him to cancel the order,to which he replied that i would have to pay a cancellation fee of 250 quid.i politely told him to go forth and multiply as it was them that was breaking the contract by not having my vehicle ready by the handback date even after three

can anyone advise on the best way to get rid of a couple of scratches on the interior plastic of the drivers side door. i put my car in my garage (a tight fit) and when i went to squeeze out the door my zip on my jacket scratched the interior lining of the door. thanks smokesmate

breaking news.i've just got my daughters car back from the local whizzpopper dealers. while it was there i got them to service it. then they rang me with a couple of small things that needed doing. 1 a rear wiper blade 6.99. 2 apparently both of the cv gaiter clips had come apart,cost of replacing these clips 107 pounds.(there just like 2 glorified jubilee clips). funny thing was though the car passed its mot in december these clips where alright then or it would have failed its mot and the cars only done 500 miles since the mot. so all in all for a yearly service a broken mirror and t

well i've got my answer this morning,whizzpopper main dealer new heated mirror glass 55 quid plus vat fitted. halfords not heated mirror glass 6.50 plus 1.99 fitting charge. my daughter still wants it done at whizzpoppers though and she wants to see the reciept as well,so i can't secretly get it done at halfords. kids don't you just love em. smokesmate

i've been told i've got to take it to the dealers on monday to get it sorted,so i think i can expect a bill of around 50 quid. smokesmate

thanks Andy. just looked on the Halfords site can't see any stick on door mirrors though,but its a good idea if they sell them. do you know if these door mirrors are ok when it comes to m.o.t time. smokesmate

i've just broken the mirror on the driverside door of my daughters whizzpopper corsa,its only the mirror glass not the housing.needless to say i am now in the doghouse with my daughter. as anyone any idea how much it will cost approx to get it fixed at a whizzpopper dealer. does anyone know if it will just be the mirror glass (heated) or will it be a complete mirror housing glass etc etc.i think its a corsa c-type mirror. cheers smokesmate

if my blower control is in the windscreen position to blow air over the windscreen every time i start my car the air conditioning comes on.should it be like this with the c-max or do i have a problem. cheers smokesmate

got my 1.6 petrol c-max today,first impressions very good.i like the road handling,mpg 36 mpg on a run according to the trip computer. theres a little bit of wind noise from the top of the drivers door. the salesman says it doesn't have a perimiter alarm although i thought all zetecs had a perimeter alarm,is there any way of telling if its got an alarm without breaking into the car. i certainly need one where i live,the local chavs seem to think if cars are new they must have a sat nav to pinch. regards smokesmate

my black c-max is now cancelled (still at the factory in germany) and i am now getting a sea gray c-max,the only trouble is its got humy light flint seats. i've read on this forum that they stain very easily so i am asking what seat covers members recomend to go with the sea grey exterior. thanks smokesmate

hi pete. i already had a word with motability operations,all they said was give it four weeks after the handback date and if i still hadn't got my c-max they would start to ask ford where it is.they also said they would fine ford for late delivery. i don't know if its just motability vehicles that ford are late in delivering but your brother in law is the third person i've heard that as had late delivery with there vehicle from ford. if its a motability thing with fords delivering late maybe someone ought to let bbc watchdog know. smokesmate

if you want my opinion walk away from fords as fast as you can,and get a car of a different make. i made the mistake by trying fords again,they messed me about six years ago and i walked away to whizzpoppers. fords are messing me about again now.i ordered a c-max in dec 06 for the 22nd of march 07 and they tell me its still at the factory and they don't know when i'll be getting my car. three months notice and they still can't deliver on time. take my advice friend walk away from fords. smokesmate

well what a pile of crap ford are. i've just spoken to the dealer,he told me my car has been built but the factory in germany haven't released it yet and its no good me having a go at them because its fords fault not there's. he can't even give me a confirmed delivery date even though i ordered the car in dec 06. i knew i should have stayed with whizzpopper's at least they deliver there cars when they say they will. well if anyone from evans halshaw of lincoln reads this you've got four weeks if its not here by then you can stick your car where the sun don't shine. smokesmate. appare

I'll keep my fingers crossed then,as i said the dealear said it would be built on the 6th march with a dealer delivery date of the 17th of march. i'll let you know how i get on in the next couple of weeks. thanks for the replies smokesmate

i am due to pick up my shiny new panther black 1.6 115ps ti-vct zetec c-max on the 22nd of this month. been to see the dealer this morning and was told the car hasn't even been built yet,its supposed to be being built tomorrow with a delivery date of the 17th of this month. when i asked him where they are built he said he didn't know,i said well if its being built abroad i doubt wether it would be here for the 22nd he said it could be. i then said its not a very good start is it seeing as i ordered it on the 22nd of december 2006.he said it was my fault because i had ordered a 115ps in panther

hello bing99. i ordered my car on dec 22nd 2006 with a delivery date of march 22nd 2007. i hope with mine being a 1.6 petrol model there will be no delay regards pick up date
