  1. Hi, Unfortunatley i am limited by cost to what i can get. The C4 Picasso is a brand new model which i'm sure will have teething troubles, however the build quality compared to the xsara picasso is honestly night and day, i was astonished how well it's finished and how well it drove. Buying one may well be a gamble however i have driven one and found it very comfortable had everything i need plus lots more. I have stated above why i had to disregard the C-max, had i been able to try one i'm sure i would have liked it.
  2. Gwyn, the changes include new seats so trying the current car will tell me nothing about how the new one will feel. I test drove the C4 Picasso today and can honestly say it was superb, far better than i could ever have imagined. I've got to say again that i won't buy a car that i can't drive first to see how it feels, would you?
  3. Thanks for the input guys. Andy, i disagree about your comments on forums, i've been visiting a few different ones this week including here and generally all the advice is useful. Yes i want to know about common faults but i also want to hear how good a car is as well which most people will tell, just like you saying the c-max will make a great car. One of the cars i'm considering is the brand new C4 Picasso mpv and the members on the citroen forum were bursting with pride to tell me how good their cars have been and how well they have been treated by their dealers so it's not all negative. Fo
  4. Thanks, after visiting dealer today i'm quite put off actually. If i order one now it will be a facelift version which the dealer can't tell me exactly what it will be like as all the changes haven't been confirmed. Plus, buying a car i can't test drive first is pretty much a no-no for me, i must be sure that i find a car comfortable both seat and suspension wise. Plus the amount of faults discussed on here surprised me, and has also put me off.
  5. Hi, New to the forum seeking some help. I am having to suddenly replace my year old scenic due to serious faults with auto gearbox, (now getting 3rd fitted in less than 6000 miles). I am leaning towards a c-max as replacement, probably a 2.0 zetec petrol auto or perhaps a Ghia. I would welcome any comments / advice about said models and regarding reliability. Thanks in advance, Davy.
