  1. Thanks all for your input The only aftermarket kit I have are reversing sensors..clearly this will be the first thing I will be pulling  at the weekend when i start troubleshooting this again. Still interested to know what the official line is from Ford on the acceptable current drain.(I am not going to call their overpriced tech support line). Thanks again bryant_andy for advising your values, however as an earlier post states with 0.37a drain the battery is going to be flat in 19 days or so...which effectively is a long stay at an Airport...would not expect a flat battery after
  2. Thanks Everything I have read, even relating to modern car, says that 0.03A is a maximum. Its good to know someone else with a C Max has 0.3A :D though I believe this could be the cause of the flat battery coupled with the short journey's the car makes along with the smart charge alternators. Regarding the ingnition lights ...no I still get lights, puddle lights and central locking. Battery was 11 - 10 v when flat BTW, I tried to PM you regarding another post where you offered a detailed layout for the fuse board. The message seems stuck in the outbox(this could be correct never used PM

Hi All This car has been trouble free since new :) ....just a few weeks back it failed to start  , RAC Jumped it and said probably down to lack of use (Car had been used only a couple of time a week for a month or so). I charged up the battery and it was fine for another 3 weeks. Same thing again Flat battery. So I started digging a bit deeper, Charged the battery again and tested with multimeter across the Battery Volts engine off: 12.7 Volt engine on: 14.5 or there about This would seem to suggest Charging system is OK?? I also tested the parasitic drain or current Drain by connecti
