Initially the Ford wanted the dealer to buy the car back, an assisted purchase, but because it was a privilege sale the losses incurred by the dealer would be too large so they arranged for Ford to issue another voucher. I must say that since then its been decided the car will just return to Ford and not be an assisted buy back.   2. The car is expected to be in a clean condition. Any accident damage is to be repaired to Ford accepted standards, preferably through a Ford Accident Repair Centre. As for the Privelige Voucher ( 9 monthly ), I'm being issued with a replacement.
  3. Been into my local dealer today to price a replacement 1.8 ghia and been informed of a £1250 discount available to privelidge customers only on the 1.6TDCi, making it £400 cheaper! First impressions were this was a good deal ( required to take existing stock , obviously ) but are these engines prone to the hesitation fault so many of the 2.0TDCi 's suffer from?

  6. my 04 C-Max developed the constant low fuel warning and limited EPB function problems soon after purchase and these were investigated during a 1500 mile courtesy check. The limited EPB function couldn't be identified but the low fuel level warning was put down to a faulty sender and a replacement was ordered.This replacement lasted 5 days before the car ran itself dry and the RAC had to be called ( guage still reading 1/2 full ) Again the sender was identified as being faulty and another unit was ordered.
