  1. Got some pictures of this now which I'll post soon. Still don't have the audio sorted out though. Does anyone know if one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Hard-wired-FM ... dZViewItem Will fit easily enough with a 6000CD unit & will I need the Fakra' aerial connection the seller mentions? Anyone any guides/example of wiring something like this?
  2. Will do once i get my digital camera back from being fixed :(
  3. by the way, finally got my carputer setup working this evening, is this the right place to put, "i'm happy with myself, worship my pointless moddishness" pictures or will people shout me down for that?
  4. Call me cynical but I think they prefer to sell you a £400 radio instead, cheeky chappies!
  5. It's cheap I suppose - I'll give it a try Thanks for the input mate
  6. Hmm, probably a bit much. Any idea if one of these "one-size fits all" modulator jobbies give decent audio and would fit easily into a Focus? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Stereo-Modulator- ... dZViewItem
  7. Thanks, bought em. Anyone else any clue as to the CDDJ link up part? What should I be looking at for a Sony Unit if I go down that route, price wise? As I'm on the ford employees finance scheme, (through a relative), I'm getting a new Focus in September so unless they're cheap it's probably not worth that option
  8. I'd love to look but unfortunately the manuals that come with the car neglect to tell you how to even remove the unit (an oversight I think) Are their any guides on here, I keep reading about keys you have to use, that means nothing to me (told you I was clueless)
  9. Hey people, I'm new to this forum and joined to get an answer to this so hopefully someone can help. Hope this doesn’t go on too long...... I'm installing a cradle in the Focus for my portable Samsung Q1 UMPC: http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/mobi ... 000suk.asp I've got Proclip, (www.proclip.com) dashboard holders and a Ram Grip http://www.ram-mount.com/mount/samsung_ ... mounts.htm ) to hold it in place above the left centre air vent. Looks great and the Sat Nav works a treat. However, (and finally to the problem) as its a Windows XP computer it holds my entire music collection
