No it's not - my daily commute is approx. 30 miles round-trip. About 24 miles of that is at 70mph on the motorway - the rest is 25 - 30 mph through urban traffic. I guess I'll be at the local Tesco filling station more often in future. John

Hi All, I'm about to take delivery of a C-MAX 1.8i Ghia. One query I have is regarding fuel consumption. Currently my 1.6i Citroen Xsara is good for about 400 miles with about £35 of petrol - will the C-MAX be much different ? I've read the posts on the forum about the fuel consumption that people are getting in real life being nowhere near the figures quoted by Ford in their official fuel consumption information. Thanks all ! John
