Evening all, I've got a focus with very excitable reverse sensors, they will beep for no reason when reversing, even when there's nothing behind me. I've reversed cars for many years without a problem and would really like to turn these off (or just silence the beeper). Is this possible? is there a connector somewhere that I can simply unplug maybe? Please?

Right-o, from what I gather I just need a new steering wheel with the Cruise buttons (is the replacement stalk actually necessary too?), then have a mechanic enable the cruise=true flag in the ECU. Would that be about the size of it? If so, could anyone please recommend a reputable garage in the Berkshire (Basingstoke) area? many thanks.

Evening all; I'm investigating having CC added to my Mk2.5 focus, I've searched and seen other topics on these forums regarding this but haven't yet found a cost to have it done professionally by a nice man at a garage. I've been in touch with a couple of garages regarding quotes but they haven't got back, so could anyone give me a rough idea of what it would cost? Details of the car are: 2008 Focus Face-lift Zetec Climate 1.8l Petrol. Otherwise unmodified. Many thanks.
