Thanks for the info, however I managed to get an 05 reg 1.6 Zetec from auction today with only 5000 miles on the clock. Looking at listings on the net there seems to be two different 1.6 petrol engines, one being a 115hp one. Silly question but how do I tell the difference?

Hi, new to this forum so please be gentle! I am thinking of buying a used C Max, possibly an ex Motability from auction. Some are 04 plates and some 05. It would appear that at some point the heated front windscreen became a standard feature on the Zetec. At what point was this as some older ones don't have it, but newer ones do? Also what else changed in the way of spec that i should look out for? Many thanks in advance for any advice / help you can give.
