  1. Thanks boys. All metal clips present. In your opinion does the scuttle actually perform any function related to water from the windscreen ie does it have to seal perfectly to the bottom of the glass?
  2. Has anybody had problems with the plastic seal/cover at the bottom of the windscreen? Mine seems to have warped and I can no longer get it to fit snug to the windscreen. The result is that water from the windscreen can now run straight into the wiper mechanism compartment. Does anyone recognise this as a fault?
  3. Fair point. I can't recall to be sure but I'll watch out for it (125 PS calculates at approx 122BHP). Main thing I was interested in was whether two engine variants existed, didn't think of two different units of measurements would get me. One thing though, if you're buying a horse buy an american one, not a german LOL.
  4. I've seen a few references to the 1.8 Zetec fitted to C-Max's as either 120 or 125BHP. Does anybody know if there are two engine variants fitted and if so how do you tell the difference (or is it just BS)?
  5. What sort of job is it to change the brakes? Any special tools needed?
  6. Just got my 1.8 Zetec 04 plate 15K ex motability. As with all my cars, I like to do my own servicing and pay particular attention to brakes (don't trust anyone else). Before taking the wheels off, does anyone know what sort of job the brakes change is (pads & disc) and whether special tools are needed? Thanks indeed for any help or advice.
