  1. Seems from reading on here it's a common problem for it to come loose or break, I was suprised to find out when calling our local dealer that they do not stock the rubber retainers fitted inside the cover, even werehouse do not stock them. They need to be ordered from the Ford factory and get this, a min order of 10 !!! I only need 1, Should I have to order 10 because my dealer doesn't stock the parts i need to support my vehicle?
  2. Hi, Just got an 04 C-MAX 2.0 TDCI GHIA for my wife, some good friends of our have had one for a year which made us decide the same. The car has been purchased from a Ford main dealer and we have been told it will be fully serviced and ready for us on Sun, unfortunately we were not able to drive the car, some company policy because it hasn't been serviced yet!! I know it's probably been asked 100's of times (tried to search) I just need a very quick guide on what to look for when driving the car, i've been told about CV joint problems but is there anything else?   3. Hi, a friend of mine has just had his 53 2.0 TDCI C-Max in for service, during this they did some recall work as expected. He was told that a valve had been reset and also a voltage parameter adjusted, the only documentation giving was refering to a voltage recal. Since this has been done MPG has increased by nearly 10 to around 52 MPG, however, performance is down, i have driven it and it doesn't seem to have the punch it had before. I know that it's always a trade off, i.e. better mpg will mean possably lower power but is this because of a fix, if so, how exactly? or is this due to a E
