  1. Thanks guys. My other half jump started the car and drove it 12 miles to get new battery on Monday, although they went by the book, the battery was way too small, but it worked enough. He went back yesterday and they replaced it with one the exact same as was in the car (apparently one listed as being for a Mondeo). All is working fine and the guy tested and said there is charge going into the battery. The old battery was none too healthy. He thought maybe the ECU needed updated/reset. Any thoughts?? Julie
  2. Hi Guys Please help!! I love my car and it is great to drive, BUT, I am having a few problems.. infact I am having to walk to work tomorrow as the car died on Friday evevning. Last year it was sticky starting and the boot kept popping of its own accord, so I put it in for its service in January at my local Ford dealer. The guy phoned me to say that when they put the battery back in it was dead and would need recharging overnight. He also told me that it looked like someone (NOT ME!) had put petrol in it at some point and this may cause probs later on. Anyway, couple of weeks ago the boo
