  1. Well etyres came and fitted 4 new tyres yesterday. I have nothing but praise for the fitter who came to my house, an extremely professional outfit. The service was quick and he did spend time cleaning the rims properly, fitting nice stick on weights to the inside of the alloys and setting the wheel nuts to the correct torque rather than the king kong pressures used by most tyre fitters! etyres is a franchise so all the fitters my not be the same, but the Ipswich area fitter gave the kind of service I would expect when I'm spend hundreds of £'s. The NCT5's have been brilliant too. We t
  2. Thanks for all the input. I have ordered the tyres from etyres. they will deliver and fit tomorrow, so I'll let you how I get on. Many Thanks.
  3. I've just ordered 4 NCT5's 205/55 R16 V91 to be fitted tomorrow so I'll see how the workout. Thanks for the input Tree. Hopefully the Goodyears will last longer that the Sport Contact 2 and the grip won't start to go half way through, which they did on the SC2's.

I'm after 4 new boots for the 'max and it would be really useful if someone came to me, also an internet service may save a few pounds too. Can anyone give me feed back on: Quality of fit Price Response time after order Many thanks in advance.
  6. It's that time for new tyres and having worn out the Sport Conti 2 rather quickly again I've decided it's time for a change. Neither of us drive the C-Max that hard but we have found like others, that the Sport Conti 2 tyre wears quickly - I don't think it offers particularly good grip for its wear rate either. So this time I thought I would go for something different. I have a C-Max TDCi 1.6, any wondered if anyone had an opinion on alternative. We don't drive the C-max that hard, but will be towing a trailer next week. I have always had good results (grip / wear) with bridgestones in t
