  1. Quick update Took car back to dealer again after trying to live with this damn rattle and failing. Also taken back for noisy brakes when reversing and a creaky dash. Was starting to feel that this car is a total nightmare but I picked the car up the day after and everything is now perfect :D . And still is a week later. The brake pads and calipers were replaced, (I understand this is a known fault.) They fitted some foam somewhere or other in the dash and tightened the door on the top compartment. As for the rattle in the door pillar/seat belt area, they removed the cover, took for test, rattl
  2. Quick update. Got car back today. "We have found the problem, it was a loose clip." says mr Ford man. "Cushty" I said. Drove car home with annoying rattle still there. GGGRRRRR Guess it will have to go back again!
  3. Thanks for the reply bryfly Glad I'm not the only one. I too was going to have the panel off but thought it might be a bad move with the airbag being under there. Will just have to see what the dealer says. Regards Matt
  4. I have a 54 plate c-max which I rate as one of the best cars I have ever owned. The problem is a really bloody annoying rattle has developed that I think is coming from where the seat belt height adjuster is, or the side airbag. I know a rattle is only a small thing but it is totally ruining the enjoyment of the car, especially as it is right in my ear and getting worse. Has anyone else had the same problem and found a fix? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It is going into the dealer to see if they can find a fault, but knowing them it will come back the same! Regards Matt
