  1. It must be the ABS, it only happens at about 10mph when the cars pulling away.
  2. My mother in law has a 6 month old 1.6 diesel c-max, when she starts the engine from cold and pulls away she gets what she describes as a 'clunk' at about 10-15mph, this doesn't happen when she's off and running and has to stop and start, only from cold. She says it feels like the clunk comes from down by her feet and passengers can hear the noise. She took it into Ford who told her it was the solonoids on the ABS and there's nothing they can do about it. Does this sound like a plausible explanation to you guys? If not, any ideas what it might be? Cheers
