Ok cheers, just wondering because they would be ford parts not like an aftermarket manufacturer, not too sure about how insurance companies work with mods! Anyway ill give them a ring and see how much extra it will be. :shock:

Got the opertunity to get a cheap set of my mate, has anyone had these parts painted and has a rough price to do so? and also any other parts that are needed to fit to a mk2 1.6 such as grills? :) More importantly if i put this on my car does this go down on the insurance as an aftermarket body kit even if its off another ford? You dropped on good there then! Ive been told theres too different types, ones slightly louder, resonated and un-resonated i believe? Which one do you have not sure which one to go for? Dont like them too loud so it drones when on the motorway etc. Thanks mate

Anyone know where the best place is to get one and a rough price for a 1.6 VCT petrol?? Best ive found is £355. Wanting to mail order one an fit it myself, just wondering if anyone has done this and if additional parts are required? Cheers Tom

Cheers Lads There 18's lol just look small for some reason! Ye i took it for colour coding but they said the paint wouldnt stick to the plastic right and would end up cracking and peeling :? Yes i had a quote with the exhaust and stuff, not so much bothered about power gains, just like a nice note from the car :D

Hi guys! Im new to the forum not sure if this is the right place to post :? Just wanted to say hi to everyone and some opinions on my car. I have 1.6 Vct i think its called, So far, alloys,lowered, tinted windows. Just want some opinions on next mod?? :) Bearing in mind im 17 and my insurance is already quite high.
