Yet another post by me - sorry. My armrest appears to be stuck in the vertical (upright) position. I seem to remember someone mentioning that this was a fault... anyone clarify this? I have read the instructions and followed what is said , but it just appears to move a little and then hit a metal pin somewhere inside which stops it going any further that a couple of mm. Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah...it's a Zetec of course. Gav EDIT > Will make a new post with a solution....

Right-o. Thanks for the assistance. I ALREADY have the Aux input device (£50 - Soundlinks) which plugs into the CD Changer socket at the back of the 6000, and just needed to reach the back of the unit - so you have helped no end there! In my focus I fan the leads to the glovebox and thats where I put the MP3 player.... but in the C-Max, i have no idea where I will put the Mp3 as there doesn't seem an easy route though due to the glovebox being somehow sealed and not accessible via a gap. I will ask them to remove the radio when I collect my focus from it service later today. Cheers.

Just a quick enquiry to ask how the smeg am I supposed to get to the back of the 6000 RDS unit? I have an AUX adaptor that I need to use for my MP3 player and I can't seem to find any holes to stick something in to get the unit out. Do I need to get a tool from ford? Part No? Or can I use something around the house. Many thanks, Gav.

Not a bad idea, but I'd prefer a standard mobile holder. It's all about surface area as far as I can see.... there is none!!! Arggghhh..

Being used to my 1.6 Focus Zetec I guess I was spoilt for space to mount my mobile phone holder.... but in the C-Max I have no idea where to mount such a thing!!! I have an LG u8110 (on the three network) and they have not yet released a dedicated in car-kit for it - so I have been using a universal holder that squeezes together and mounts on the dash (or wherever) using sticky backed stuff... When in the C-Max last night I searched and searched to no avail.... there simply did not seem to be a convenient place to mount a phone holder... Any suggestions would possibly save a life! Rega

Howdo! Just given my Focus to me missus and got meself a 1.8 C-Max Zetec. I know that the Ghia is all singing dancing, but wondered if there were any mods available to give Ghia features. Already I have noticed that there is a thread relecting the fact that the Footwell bulb holders just need bulbs putting in...and the clear side repeaters... Will look at this when I get home, but are there any other minor mods we can do Gav
