Thanks folks. Interesting that you both say extoll the boot size of the estate, whereas the official figures say 482 litres for the Estate and 550 litres for the C-Max, both with rear seats up. I guess they are loading to the window, which is higher in the C-Max, whereas you were maybe both thinking of the roof as the limit....? The Mondeo saloon is 528 litres, btw, but again, you have more above-the-window-line space in the Estate.
