Hi Everyone, I do not know if this is normal but with the Aircon Off, and the temperature to its maximum cold position (full anticlockwise), i start to feel warm air coming from the vents after a while. I believe that since the engine is right below the air intake then it must be heating the whole section and thus the incoming air heats up inside the intake (near the wipers mechanism)before it comes in the cabin. Please let me know if this happens to you as well. By the way I live in Malta and hence it is warmer. Thanks Kenneth

Ensure that the hand brake is lowered when you check for the noise. I had/have a similar creak noise but Ford says it is normal with hand brake on. Please let me know. Kenneth Malta

check that you do not have the left rear lights panel loose. I just found mine untightened from both screws. You have to remove the far rear left pilar to access one screw and the other from the plastic left side small door (where the towing clamp is located) to access the second screw. Be sure that they are well tightened. Ken Malta

thanks guys. I have tried : 1) found rear left lights pilar completely loose from both screws inside (tightened but noise still other) 2) puth some cloth to separate the spolier from the glass 3)found another piece of plastic (packing near left rear glass) not clicked well in place. However noise still there: I removed the interior back plastic sides and discovered a cable securing block out of place and also put some cloth under both rear plastic sides (near the spare wheel) to be sure that they are not clicking against the metal floor. Will have a test drive and keep you informed. I

This is unbelieveable... Had the car serviced and the dealer says that he needs the car back because he heard a noise at the back (i never heard before) and made an appt. (very nice service till now..i was surprised) Taken the car and they say they dismantled roof.....thhowever i am hearing the noise now (other than fixed) it is like an occasional clicking noise that seems to be coming from the roof near the back. I have also sat in the boot while my wife was driving but i cannot make the exact location. I guess will have to live with it as i am afraid of taking it again and maybe the pr

Guys, I managed to re fit....but it was very hard. One thing i found difficult was to refit the fuse box back in place...i was afraid to break it (and i am still not convinced it is correctly in although the right hand dowel fitted and screws ok as well) Hope it will not go out again. Hi Guys, As you know, the glove compartment door lowers down very slowly when opening (looks like on hydraulic control), however as from yesterday mine started going down uncontrolled when opened..i mean it just goes down without any damper...any suggestions please? Kenneth

I own a 1 year old Petrol 1.6 Zetc which apart from the squeeks has been superb. Have just had a Low fuel and went to fill up as usual, however this time although the gauge is showing correctly, the Computer is still indicating LOW FUEL, and shows 75km remaining..the REMAINING TO EMPTY warning is also showing incorrectly, presumably this is controlled by the wrong fuel indication. Any suggestion?? Will the engine receive an insruction to switch off at 0 remaining although the tank is full?? Thanks Ken Malta

Thanks for the replies. The dealer just pointed out that the RAC's are not part of the C-Maxes in Malta and it is normal that specs change from country to country, so to my disappointment I'll have to accept. Turkish....Malta is a small country so every place is very close.

Hello Friends, I am waiting to collect my new C-Max Trend (Zetec) in Malta. However in a pre check on the car at the dealer garage, I noticed that the Remote Audio Controls are not installed, while in another car (an ambiente presumably LX, with less features) they are fitted. Is this normal or shall i ask the dealer to have it installed for me? Thanks
