  1. One more bit that may point to a problem with the GPS recievers. The car entertainment unit is set to pick it's time and date from the GPS. After disconnecting the battery yesterday I noticed it hadn't this morning.
  2. Yeah I guess. Don't really want to go down that route unless I know for sure it's that. Will probably end up taking it back to Ford. Hope it's warranty covered.
  3. Don't think the maps would be out of date but maybe if the SD card had got corrupted somehow. I would need a CD from ford for that, which I don't have....

  5. Hi, I have a ford focus mk2.5 Sport TDCi It was registered in January 2011. I think this model was produced to use up parts when the Mk 3 came out! Anyhow it has Ford's built in sat nav. It's not the touch screen version. It's maps are on SD card and I believe they get updated by a CD supplied by Ford. It's been working perfectly since I got the car in October last year, but yesterday it's showing the car way off from its current destination. I did the in built calibration, but that didn't seen to do anything. I then manually put in its destination and then took it for a drive but it showed m
