  1. I have for almost 6 months now a 2.0 petrol focus.I ordered my car in the "sport" version which is almost identical with the Zetec version in GB,except the climate option...I have Aircon. My problem is with the Sony cd/mp3 player. This is the single disk radio cd,not the 6 cd player.Well...in the beginning it was impossible to change the time in the screen. After several attemts to change the time, the specific indication disappeared completely from the screen  The Sony unit wasn't installed in the factory,it was installed here by the dealer's service department. The time indication was func
  2. During weekend I monitor this "strange behavior" and noticed the following: When car is still mooving freely (rolling) and while neutral is in the gear selector (manual gearbox) the engine come to a quite stable idle speed which is a little lower from the 1000revs line,a needle width or two.As the car finally stops the idle revs decrease automatically even more in a "step-down" manner, little by little. It isn't happen the same when the car is motionless and rev-up the engine. In this case idle speed follows the "step-down" procedure staight from the start as the revs drop down further 1000rpm.
  3. Yes Steve, that's exactly what I'm talking about...! Do you believe this is normal or may need some kind of adjustment? Nick.
  4. Thanks Steve but this is happening when the engine is warmed up already and without the air con kicked in/out!Unless the engine continues to warm up even after 10-15 min. in very warm weather. It's rather strange though that this isn't happening all of the time revs come to idle but only sometimes! Anyway,I think I'll check it out with the Service center down here just in case... Any other suggestion/opinion would be welkome... Thanks Nick.
  5. Hallo to everyone in the Forum... 3 weeks ago I got my all new Petrol 2.0l Focus.Car is marvelous and very pleasant to drive,1.000Km so far.I have noticed though an instability to idling RPMs!Not always, but sometimes RPMs during idle flactuate from 850 to 950 RPM.Is that normal?Has anyone else noticed this?I want to believe that this is only because my engine isn't completely run-in yet :?: I don't know if such a subject worths a visit to the local Service Center. What do you think about that?
