these are the instuctions for fitting the ford focus 1600 petrol auxillary belts. any chance this can be made a sticky for other members to find easily :idea:

no there isnt a tensioner mate its a stretch belt it has to be forced on the pulleys somehow

surely somebody must know

im trying to fit a alternator belt to a late 2006 1600 petrol focus and ive been struggleing with it for the last 2 hours now, no matter how much i try it wont go on it keeps jumping off the pulleys as i turn the crank. it gets to within a fraction of going on. please somebody help before i set fire to the car its really winding me up :twisted: i dont know wether to laugh or cry :lol:
