sometimes when using heating system in 1.8 petrol (automatic AC), burning smell comes out of the ventilation system. The smell is very strong and iritating. Any ideas?

i think the problem with my car might be with the AC, since i have it on almost all the time will try witrh AC switched off

i have 1.8 engine c-max Sometimes when standing on traffic lights or likewise the engine seems to have some problems. It is loosing power, rpm dial is jumping up and down and when reaching lowest position the battery symbol swithes on and sometimes it even shut down (the engine). I've been to the dealer and they have tested the engine and nothing seems to be wrong. They have tighten one groung wire and updated the software, but the problem is still there. I'm returning the car on this friday and I hope they will find the problem and fix it. any ideas? marko slovenia
