Hi all Today the radio unit started acted up, finished workat 1400 and jumped in the car the radio displayed -:--, i thought weird, switched the engine on and the clock came back as before, normal time the main problem now is when i switched the radio off and switch it back on, the cd does not remember where it was, ie, if on track 1, it will jump back or forward upto 60 seconds any ideas anyone, its booked in in 2 weeks time cheers for the input people

Hi, this is what i am worried about, i know what garages are like, used to work at one when i went down the other day, they had a quick look at it, but was unable to find the problem, so they said leave it with us for the weekend, got a hire a car because the garage is 15 miles from home and i work at nottingham its booked in for the friday the 13th, oh dear, :? have allready told them not to touch anything, but i know what there like, if i tell them not to update it, and then they do, could i refure to accept the car back do you think? trying everything to get it fixed other than

tried changing the battery, reprogramming the key and remote with the other spare key etc, no change, just dont work i can get into the car via the key, but then the car alarm goes off, never mind, have to laugh i suppose Rik.

Hi, After recently going into ford in regards to my central locking not working correctly and them saying there not sure what is wrong, they have decided to book it in for a few days for testing I dont have a problem with this, BUT, will they touch the ecu, the car is working perfectly apart from the keypad not locking or unlocking the doors, i have heard about people with the ford garage doing ecu updates on here what do you people think? it used to work at times over the xmas period, but no longer works at all, even close up to the car just changed the battery but no change, think it could be the chip in the key perhaps thats gone faulty

Hi all, brill site i seemed to have a developed a fault with my remote locking on my 2.0 tdci ghia, when you press any of the 3 buttons nothing happens i can still unlock the car with the car, but is annoying, ive checked the battery, seems to be correct voltage anyone have any ideas, dont really want to take the car to the dealer as the car is running sweet thanks to all in advance who help out Rik.

Does anyone know on how to hook up a mp3 player on this head unit or is that not an option?
