Just been contacted by the dealers that my new 2.0TDCI Zetec Cli has arrived and will be delivered to me next Wednesday, cant complain really as I only ordered 4 weeks ago, guess it was in stock already. Roll on Wednesday :D

Well after 15 months of driving the A3 and believe me it wasn’t a pleasure I took the plunge and ordered the above in Aquarius Blue, quite lucky as the leasing company phoned me and said there is one for immediate delivery so hopefully should have by next week saves a 12 weeks factory order. Quite excited really, anything to be wary of? Rgds Andy :D

They are a bit nippy to say the least, one quick question is it was blommin difficult to select reverse, you really had to push it left real hard. I was under the impression that the 6sped 2.0D had a lift up thing on the stick?

Thanks for the reply’s chaps, just had the pleasure of a two day demo from Ford, a band new 35 miles on the clock, silver 2.0 TDCI Ghia. Was very impressed, power, handling and quality inside finish. I currently drive a 04 A3 and the build and feel of the new Focus is on par or even better. Hopefully ordering next week, will be the Zetec Climate one, will there be any major defence to the Ghia model. Rgds Andy :P

Hello folks, First post on here so hello to everyone, very good site by the way. Anyway quick question, I currently have an A3 1.6 and have had nothing but problems with is since new last August. After a very long battle with Audi and my company they have agreed to take back. I have decided to go down the Ford Focus MkII route and have got it down to two models. Either the 2.0 TDCI Zetec Climate or the 1.8 TDCI. Not drove any of them yet was just after your thoughts/advice. Kind regards Andy

Fuel economy is quite a prioty as I do quite a lot of miles, 27,000 in 9 months with the Audi. I don’t agree that the quality of the Audi is superior it rattles and creaks with more bits falling of then a shedding tree in autumn... Quite like the Titanium model and also the Zetec just got to a point of forking out extra £ per month for not to good a quality car. Thanks for the feed back chaps. Andy

Hi Folks, Just came across this site and would like some help. Currently driving a MKII Audi A3 company car and having nothing but problems, I have been told the lease company are taking it back thank god, this is also my 3rd replacement car in the past 2 years the other 2 being VW golf’s. I have had nothing but problems with all three since day one. Now to the question, quite like the look of the new Focus and want to stay well away from the German c**p and was after some advice on what model i.e. spec wise and which diesel to look at Many thanks Andy
