  1. Its a 5 week old 2.0tdci Zetec climate, it's not the AC as this is on the side area of the glove box.
  2. Looked in the manual but doest mention anything, if you look at the back of the glove box there is a circle with a few holes cut out, in the middle is a hole which look to have a connection inside, any ideas what this is?. Rgds Andy
  3. Forgive me if I am being stupid here: I can touch the driver’s door window and release and it goes all the way down, all well and good but to close I have to keep my finger on the button till it closes. The passenger side you have to hold the button till open and again hold till close is this correct as all my other cars have one touch for the front windows.
  4. My paint match is spot on, and it was built in Germany. So I guess that theory is blown out of the window. Guess it's just down to luck more than anything.
  5. Fuel comp reading around 52 mpg, given it's not 100% on the miles to fill up as this drops quite quick when in the low 40's, so info given is not far out each time I filled up.
  6. Was showing 40 miles left and the fuel light had come on in all instances, so was 99% of all fill ups.
  7. These days we have choices of fuel to put in our engines, now as far I was aware diesel was diesel. I have had my Focus 2.0 TDCI for one month now and have put over 3000 miles on it so I thought I would try different fuels for the same type of journeys. To try and keep things pretty much for muchness I found the following: Shell diesel extra, 94.9 per litre stuck in £15 and ran till fuel light came on which was 210 miles. Total standard diesel, 94.9 again £15 and ran till light came on 208 miles. Esso standard diesel, 93.9 as above 214 miles. BP ultimate, 99.9 per litre as above 198
  8. Two main issues for me. 1, You press the drivers window button and release it goes all the way down, all well and good, but you have to keep your finger on the button all the way up to close it. And for the pass side you have to hold it both ways, seems a bit backward. 2, my radio volume comes on at level 6 every time it's switch on, and I can’t change it. Other than this all is well in the world Andy
  9. Checked last night and there aint nothing there apart from the plastic holder, ohh well was worth checking, thanks again for the info. Rgds Andy
  10. Ahh I see now, think I was looking at the white plastic bracket not the black one, it this pic from the drivers side of passenger?. Andy
  11. Thanks for the tip, will have another look later, pretty sure mine has a grey bracket with a hole, but no holders. Rgds Andy
  12. Sorry to bring this up again, had a look under the pedals and I cant see any holders/cables, does this mean it hasn’t got them or am I being stupid,ie are they hidden up somewhere out of site, mines a new zetec climate. Rgds Andy
  13. Me too. From what I know with the bigger sized engine you get discs all round or if you have ESP or whatever its called. Mines the 2.0D and dics are standard on the 2.0 and above.
  14. Well two weeks of ownership, here's some pics, I must say having just got rid of the MkII Audi A3 for this I am most impressed, if fact I would go to say that it's bettter than the A3. 15. Daft question, when you switch the radio on its quite loud, volume 6 on mine, read the manuals but it doesn’t mention how to reduce to a lower level, any ideas? Rgds Andy
