Apart from the metallic paint it's just a standard ST-2. Ordered on Friday 21st Jan, delivered to dealer on the Wednesday. Could have picked it up on the Friday but as I wanted a couple of days to drive it I held off until Tuesday 31st Jan. Done about 900 miles so far. Alan

Think your right, spoke with the salesman this afternoon and he said it's not an easy job and he's quite handy around motors, bit of a petrolhead too. Mate's just traded his RS for a Mondeo ST TDCi and his has the full auto wipers lights and mirror. Not that bothered about the lights and wipers but thought the mirror might just be a couple of wires to the interior lights for supply etc. Certainly two wires on the Mondeo version and what looked like a sensor on the mirror itself. Hi first post on the FFOC, great site BTW. I have a ST2 in Panther Black, had it almost a fortnight now. Although I have the glovebox connecter, the post about the MP3 adaptor was most helpful. Was able to remove the glovebox feed the cable down behind the radio and centre console plastic and into my iPod. Cable hidden from view. My question is, is it possible to retro fit the auto dimming rear view mirror? If it is, how easy is it for a total technophobe? Cheers Alan
