  1. i wasnt that bothered about it as never had it on a car before, but it has been handy ( even if it aint working right ), its automatic to so under a set ambient temp both front and rear switch on, thats a nice touch. what car you got?
  2. ye done that - didnt see about the wiper link though thats good to know - its in to fords tomo to get it looked at as still under warranty so hopefully they will just fix it and il find out what it was to let people know. sure its only 1 fuse mind on the screen but each side is wired in parallel so if 1 side goes the other still works. naf though if its the drivers side that goes. il keep u posted

  5. Think there once was a thread ( so im told ) for Zetec S owners pics. as it seems to have gone I thought we could start it up again. here is mine. Had her just over a week and love the drive. upcoming mod's this week include LED number plate & side light bulbs, DMB gel overlay ford badges in carbon / chrome, new carbon domed number plates ( when i get logbook back ) and then full clean from clay to wax with Meg's products from Eurocarparts (thanks to the 25% off - nice). more pics to follow

  8. ok so my 2009 Mk2.5 has nice looking wheels but lurking from behind them is a stupid drum and this drum looks like it was salvaged from the titanic. i wanna paint it in without taking the drum off. was thinking Hammerite but not sure of the heat capabilities with that. then the kits you buy seem over priced? any recommendations? Thanks
  9. Any1 had a go with these http://www.dmb.uk.com/prod/271/ford-bad ... s2#colours need new number plates as ones on are cheap s**T after previous owner took his personal plates off and they peeling ( getting off point a little ) - so getting carbon plates, and thinking the carbon look badge overlays would look pretty good but wondering if anyone used these or ones like them and how good/bad they look and if they are worth the cash thanks
  10. glad i asked - they are abit naf aint they -
  11. morning all, this morning was first freeze since owning my mk2.5 and when turning the heated screen on only the passengers side work? D'oh indeed. are these fused per side? has any1 else had this? any1 know what to check to try fix it? thanks

  13. Hi, just wondering what people thing of Bonnet Bras and the styling they bring a well as the protection to the paint work. Thinking about getting this - unless any1 knows a better supplier? Bonnet Bra
  14. No worries. Ps fast is fun and crashes ain't or points for both. Speaking from past experience
  15. correct description but I said coasting - thing with coasting is there is not engine braking so the car takes longer to brake to a stand still - some say. Its also not great for the engine as its not burning the fuel correctly. and with my car its upsetting the engine sensor's to - lol i used to coast to improve fuel economy but again people have different opinions on that - sure if you google it there will be a few other opinions on it. nice to see a young drive asking sensible question though other than how fast are ya. tehe.
  16. Cheers Guy. No mine aint stalling ( touch wood )

  19. did you ever find what this was all about. and what year / model do you have? il have to have a look in the body then and see if mine is the same. bit of a worry really on a 3 year old car
  20. Nice one. once again Daz cheers for your wisdom
  21. oh right, that makes sense. I agree not best driving skills and not something i usually do but i noticed this happening just as i changed gear so i tried to replicate it and sure enough it does it every time. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt a potential issue with my new car. and wrist is smacked for poor driving with this one. cheers
  22. my 3 year service is due in a few months and I can see the price is about £300 for this so thats like double of a normal service. any one know what they do during this service? Thanks
  23. Hi, Iv recently brought a fore-mentioned 09 Zetec s 1.8 and this morning i noticed a very strange thing with the rev counter. whilst being naughty and coasting for about 300 metres on a slight decline at around 50 MPH the rev counter instead of being at idle started to bounce between idle and 1100 RPM? iv never seen this before in any car. is there any other owners that can conform whether this is normal or any1 who has experienced this? Thanks
