  1. Thanks for your replies on this. The car is with the dealer today having the bottoms of the doors sprayed. To be honest I wouldn't accept anything other than perfection on the spray job considering the car cost €24,500 in Eire ( I know we are being ripped off!!!), so if any of you have experienced this or any other dodgy paintwork, I would suggest bringing it back to your dealer and demanding that the work be done. I know there is a 10 year anti-corrosion warranty, but don't tell me that the dealer wouldn't have an issue if you were trading in a car that had started to rust on the bottom of
  2. When cleaning my new focus (bought feb 06 - 1.6 zetec) I noticed that the doors didn't seem to be sprayed on the bottom. When I contacted my dealer, he informed me that it was an anti corrosion coating that had been put on the bottom of the doors - hence the different colour - the car is panther black and the bottom of the doors were a matt grey. I'm still not convinced. The dealer has agreed to take the car back and spray the bottom of the doors for me, but has anyone else encountered this problem. Thanks.
