Watch out for where the seatbelts go from the backseat past the window into the C pillar - we were wondering why the dog was so quiet in the back until we saw she'd been quietly chewing on the seatbelts - 180 euro later - BAD DOG!!!! Made up my own tray out of MDF with wings that cover over the exposed seatbelts - looks butt ugly, but does the job.

We have a 1.6 petrol C-Max Zetec which we bought in March 2004. Earlier this year we discovered a fault (fortunately while the car was still under warranty) where the starter motor failed to shut off after the engine started - even when the key was removed from the ignition, the motor continued to turn over and over until the battery went flat.
