new wiper blade not working correctly
wally375 replied to wally375's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
Yes, I've even tried to swap them arround to see if there was a difference. Looks like a new one is required! Thanks again. -

Hello and thanks for the reply. I did check them for size and they are the same. -
Hello to you all. I have purchased all new wipers as a Christmas present to the old C-Max. Problem.......The passenger blade misses about an inch in the middle when on, leaving an unclear area in the middle. Any ideas? Do I have to start bending the support arm or anything like that? Any advice much appreciated. :bowdown

I was twitching! The wife unit would have killed me if i'd have run out!

Hello, are there major problems if you run really low on diesel in the C-Max? I was low and nowhere near a garage so had to drive until I found one. The fuel warning light was on and when I did find a garage I had 3 miles to go before total empty! Hope I havn't killed my car. Can't wait to pay for it and then sell it!

Thanks will give it a go.

Anyone know, or can tell me, how to go about getting to the Washer pump so I can flush it out?

key battery replacement & hello
wally375 replied to wally375's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
Tooke the key to Ford and they changed the battery. Guess what? The same problem happend within 10 mins! Replaced the battery myself and have not had a problem yet! I was only worried because I had a Mondeo once and I knew there was an issue with battery replacement. Many thanks to all who replied. -
What don't you like about your C-Max?
wally375 replied to bryant_andy's topic in MK2 - Ford Focus 2005 > 2011
1. All the creaks, rattles and groans. 2. The easily water stained seats. 3. The way water dribbles down the sides of the rear hatch when you open it. 4. dealer 4 times in as many months with 'get you home issue'. Blown exhaust valve and then turbo pipe blowing. 5. fuel economy. -

Thanks for getting back to me. I dropped the battery during the replacement process and I remember being told that if you took too long the code wont work anymore. Not sure if it's true but I will have to keep trying until Ford open on Monday. Thanks again. -
Seen them in Halfords today. As you say significantly cheaper than Ford! Good luck

Hello to you all. Can anyone point me in the right direction, I've just replaced the battery in my key fob (dropped the whole lot in the process) and now when I press the button to open/close nothing happens. Will I need to get a re-programme? and if so do you know how much this costs? I can still open the door using the good old key turn method but the wife is not impressed!! Please help if you can. Many thanks
