Guess What it wasn't the fuse box - theres a suprise. Apparently this was a a recomendation of Ford to change it. Now I have to wait til Monday when they are to get out the Ford Uk Field Technician to have a look at it - somehow I'm not confident about getting it back in a hurry now what was that commitment procedure??? -

apparently a fuse box problem - to be replace tomorrow Friday- watch this space -
Day 1 (Wednesday) Maxi (as she’s known to her friends) collected, all shiny and bright. 17 mile drive home from work no problems. All is good with the world. Day 2 (Thursday) What this still no problems, 55 miles on the clock and trip computer showing 37 mpg Day 3 (Friday) Maxi celebrated her 100th mile today. Ah well it couldn’t last. ABS warning light came on during supermarket trip. Seemed to have cleared itself on way home then it returned, quickly followed by the engine computer, steering assist and brakes. Too late to contact dealership, wait until tomorrow. Dreams of the happy days

Its here - well England at least and the dealer says that I can collect it next Tuesday - 5 week from order - can't wait I've just seen on the archer of Ashby site the following ad:- 5 Door 1.6 TDci 110PS Stage III (2004.25MY)** 5 Speed £13,395 Inc. metallic paint & £1,943 customer saving 5 Door 2.0 TDci 135PS Stage III (2004.25MY)** 5 Speed £13,795 Inc. metallic paint & £2,493 customer saving I didn't think the 2.00 TDCI was available in a 5 speed variant - mind you looks like a good price though any comments

ortho how long have you been waiting ? was yours a factory order or just waiting delivery? cheers
-
Its now four weeks since my order for an 'in group' 2.0 tdci and no news of its delivery. I was told it was in belgium and would hit the dealer within 7-10 working days. As a result Ive had to re-tax my present vehicle (will lose at least 1 month maybe a second when I get my refund) reduced rebate in my insurance 2 extra credit payments on original agreement extra fuel cost of runnign my ST220 for a further 3 weeks (main reason I was changing vehicles) can I claim compensation

Cheers - look forward to seeign the photos

cant compare as haven't seen the autoleads one not sure if I like the way the ford looks with the radio sat in there with the gap underneath. it would look better with a definate break under the HU and a smaller slot unerneath imo maybe I should go with just puttign the Sony FOrd HU in although I do really want the Pioneer 6600 decisions decisions anyone seen the autoleads one

no they admitted the mistake re the o/s finance and said they would cover it - however on the written order the o/s credit balance is shown as £830 ( in theory adding 830 to my bill) - it is now actually £115 less as I've made a payment and am due to make another soon - unless the car is delivered in the meantime - would I be therefore in my rights to reduce my cash input to the deal by this amount £115 or £230 whatever it is at the time. theres been no mention of reducign the trade in value but if I ask for my £115/250 reduction could they then re negotiate the p/x anyway is normal for

I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of my new 2.O TDCI C-Max, ordered three weeks ago yesterday (told 7 -10 working days for delivery). There was a bit of a kangaroo up on the paperwork and despite me advising of a settlement figure they forgot about this (£830) on doing the deal but honoured the agreed figure to change. Actually the guy I originally spoke to didnt want to loose the sale and as I could only get in on his day off to complete it he didnt want it to go to someone else so left it with a trainee -hmmn At the time the finance guy said that if my quoted settlement figure was more
