  1. Yep, The same thing happened to me Ian. Your car is showing the exact same symptoms as mine when the battery dies. I have had the AA out on two occasions for a home start and after the initial boost and a quick run around the village, all is okay. There is definitely an issue with the C-Max battery. I had a Focus for five years and never experienced any issues such as this.
  2. Yep! - Excellent choice, recently changed mine after finding it a bit difficult without the CD changer - something I had in my previous Focus. It's a cracking system, but I have no audio hand book for the Sony. Anybody got one or can I order one from my dealer. Details please. Dealer would not give me a discount for my old unit so I have a brannd new 6000 CD/Radio for sale. Offers please.
  3. No the Plates came marked with Focus. Eitherway they are a quality product, it adds to the appearance and are practical to boot.
  4. Yep, had them fitted FOC after my garage put a small dent in the Passenger's sill. The're easy to fit and cost about £50. Availability - had them within a few days of kickin' 'em for the damage.
  5. My Turbo hose came loose on a recent trip to Hull sound just like your sisters symptoms. If so it's easy to resolve. - best of luck - Tom
  6. respect 8) Well done matey wip'em out an polish'em off.
  7. Be careful, I bought a car from Reg and co in Reading (not Calcot) two cars ago. It was two years old, but in the first service it cost me £800. Robin' b'stards. I found them somewhat pricey and unreceptive to customer's grievances. Proceed with care!
  8. Thanks Justice - crackin' Car, colours almost an good as the Rosso. Yep as I feared the sensors are in the coloured part of the bumper and I don't fancy some apprentice being given it as a project (and then to * * * * it up) in the dealers, also I'm not confident I would get colour matched sensors either. Do you our any of the other chaps have pictures with it fitted in the lower bumper valance like disney_cjd's rear sensors? Is this possible or even practical? BTW what’s the oblong protuberances below the lights? Cheers lads! :)
  9. Thanks disney_cjd for the pictures of the rear sensors. Anyone got any pictures of how they are fited on the front bumper. Hoping to get a retro fit option and I am hoping to get the Engineer to fit them anywhere but on the coloured part of the bumper. Picture of same would be useful. :)
  10. Yep! - seen your recent post TDCIGHIA, you can reprogram the control unit to close the windows as per the manual. but typically there was a software problem on mine and after replacing the door module twice it, was still unresolved. - Apparently it's a known issue by Ford and I am awaiting a recall to resolve this. Thankfully it's not too much of a hardship, all the other windows close as designed, I just have to hold the lever down for this one. Pinhacker 8) knows about this issue and may be willing to give a better insight into the issue than me.
  11. Methinks that Ortho has too much money - private dentist I guess. - I suppose that's why I'm paying £25 a month for my teeth. I guess that I have more money than sense also  I think he may have been caught in the headlights of the posts from 'Dark side' and wasn't willing to tough it out. I must admit that I too have had problems with my 2.0Ltr TDCI Ghia and I still have an unresolved problem with the ‘One-shot-close’ on the front Passenger’s door after three months – soon to give the Dealer and Ford a kick up the @*$! – but I’ve been driving for thirty years now and I can honestly s
