  4. Hi all as you will know i had to reject my 2.0 TDCI max as it was just very faulty ,any way the replacement a Foci hatch TDCI has given me even more grief so this has been rejected back to Ford dealer ,i am now turning my back on the darkside in favour of a 2.0 Focus Edge in Panther black 3 door with all the bells and whistles yum yum. The Ford peeps also said that the C Max was having to have lots of warranty repairs for faulty ECUs and creaky dashes and seats  Ortho 8)

  7. Ok i will bow to your knowledge and knowhow ,didnt realise the Mondi had that much torque  but i can get 0-60 in 9 secs so not far away plus it handles pretty well with the larger dia wheels. Not sure about top speed still running it in! P.S whats wrong with Fords own TDCI engines, more reliable than the PAS units, a proven engine on the reliability front ,PAS yet to prove itself on that count Ortho

  14. Hello all opening old ground again, "TDCI" had a little race with Chav in his dads Maxxy 2ltr and he blew my poor old Foci 1.8 TDCI into the weeds on the long straight bit  BUT when on the windey back roads he lost the plot a bit as well as the race he had got into with my FOCI Hatch :o But was deeply impressed with the straight line accelaration just not the big barges handling when the going got tough  Regards Ortho :D

Cheers Ortho
  22. Sorry TDCI but gotta say wot i feel  i dont think its the cars its the dealers makin the situation worst, it just sucks when they give you "erm we will try to fix it", phone u up 10 days later say its fixed and when you drive off all the faults reapear :x i know i have a tendancy to preach but Ford dealers are ***** and so are Ford themselves for lumping folk wiv so many probs  It just shouldnt happen Cheers Ortho
