*Bump* I noticed this really when my clock didn't automatically jump back an hour when summer time ended yesterday as I expected. So, did anyone here with the same unit have any luck with this?

Hi, I possibly should have posted this on the ICE forum, but it's (I think), specific to the 6000CD unit as fitted to the C-Max, so here goes ... Anyway, I'm having trouble getting my 6000CD to synch to RDS time. According to the Audio Guide manual (p. 41), which is a bit confusing as it tries to cover all possible models with one manual (!), I should be able to get to a menu item that allows me to switch to "RDS TIME ON" or "RDS TIME OFF". All I seem to be able to get to is one which allows me to set the time manually. Any ideas?

There are actually two versions of this clip, one that fits down to the left of the console, on the passenger side as shown in the above link, and one that fits over the driver's side centre air vent. Go to www.brodit.com and search for Ford and scroll down the list for the C-Max. You can get them in the UK from www.handnav.co.uk.

Is that for the seatbelts? I also just had a brainwave that it could also be for the side airbags fitted in the side of the seats.

Whilst ferretting about underneath my seat trying to extrciate a coin I'd dropped on the floor, I noticed what looked like a sheathed cable leading to a small black junction-box thingy on the outside front edge of each of the front seats. Any idea what it's for? I don't have electric seats, or heated seats or anything, so I'm a little confused as to what it might be.

I've only just picked it up and haven't really had a chance to give it a really good "thrashing" yet, but my initial impressions are that I can't really tell the difference between this and any other 110PS diesel I've driven recently, whether of the same or higher capacity. It's a bit lifeless below about 2000rpm, but around then the turbo kicks in and things get very quick very quickly if you get my meaning! Also FWIW it's apparently the same engine as used in the 307 HDi, jointly developed with PSA. I live in Ireland, where car tax is engine size based, so that's good news for me! I'll b

Hi there, I'm new here, and will hopefully be picking up my new (to me at least) 1.6 TDCi Zetec tomorrow lunchtime. It's an ex-rental car and was first registered in May '04, and I want to be sure when I pick it up that it's had the latest ECU software fixes that I've read about here in relation to the fuel warning light and radio RDS time problems so that I don't end up having to take it back just for that. So, can anyone give me any kind of reference number for the above faults and what version of the ECU software should be on it to ensure I don't suffer those problems? Thanks!
